Those of you heading over the river and through the woods this holiday season might find yourself looking for road trip entertainment. A to Z – The Road Trip Game offers up the classic Alphabet Game but in a new format. The app has three versions of the game and will keep track of multiple players. Here’s a look at the three versions of the Alphabet Game you’ll find in A to Z.
- Classic - In this version players are trying to be the first person to spot something that begins with a letter of the alphabet. The game goes through the alphabet in the correct order, A to Z. As a player calls out their letter they tap a button next to their name and the app will track which letter they are on. The first player to reach “Z” wins the game.
- Full Contact - Full Contact also has players work through the alphabet from A to Z, looking for things that begin with the letters. This time players can block each other. To do this they would find something that began with the letter someone else was working on and then call that out first.
- Cricket - This version is the biggest twist on the classic game. Here players can look for letters in any order but they have to find three things for each before they can move on. Free passes are given for the letters Q, U, X and Z.
The thing that I liked about A to Z is how it keeps track of the letters for you. There’s no worry about getting confused or forgetting where you’re at in the alphabet. I also like that you can pause and save games to resume them again later on.
