ABC Animal Pop

December 22, 2011

Do you have a little someone in your house who is learning their ABC’s? Or how about a little someone who likes learning their animals? ABC Animal Pop is a fun app that combines both – ABC’s and animals! This app has a simple concept that can be easily grasped by younger children. There are two modes of play: Letters or Animals. In both modes, you simply watch the balloons rise from the bottom of the screen and float towards the top – then tap a balloon to pop it. When a balloon is popped either a letter or an animal surfaces, depending on which mode you are playing. Something that I noticed that I thought was helpful – if you miss a bunch of balloons (perhaps for little ones with less coordination) it’s ok – the balloons just keep cycling until you have popped them all.

I thought that this was a cute app and a great learning tool for little ones. I think that apps like this are neat because they help to teach while playing a simple game. I know my son will enjoy popping the balloons and seeing what surprises come out of them!

Chalk Walk

Chalk Walk is a very unique iPad app. It has been developed to help your children improve the pincer grip they use to hold a pencil.

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
