Agent 18 Shield Limited Case

November 9, 2010

Over the past few weeks I have been trying out the new Shield Limited case from Agent 18. I have the Starbright pattern and it brings a splash of color and personality to my phone. The Shield Limited cases are durable but they’ve got a smooth, slick look to them. The case comes in two pieces that slide on around your phone and then fit together. The sides are enclosed and there’s no way the case is going to accidentally come off. The camera, volume control and every other slot and switch you’d need access to are still accessible while the case is on. The case comes up just a bit above the iPhone’s screen which gives it protection from bumps and falls.

I have another Agent 18 case, the FlowerVest. That case is made of flexible silicon. I liked the case but it had a tendency to slip off the corner of my phone. The Shield Limited case doesn’t budge and I’ve been very pleased with it’s look and the protection it provides. The case also comes with a simple stand for your iPhone. I have just one minor complaint about the case and that is how slick the case feels. The case material is very smooth and at times it feels like it might slip from my grasp.

The Shield Limited Case is currently only available for the iPhone 4. Additional details can be found at the Agent 18 website.

Price when Reviewed: $34.95

Seller: Agent 18

Disclosure: I received a sample Shield Limited case for review purposes.

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
