Animals on Board

December 9, 2010

Animals on Board is a tongue in cheek game about Noah trying to load up his ark with animals. You play the game as Noah and you must toss the animals onto the arc, one by one. You’ll need to watch Noah’s aim because as the animals start to land they begin to stick to each other and pile up. You must be careful because the wrong shot could knock other animals off or worse, tip over the arc.

Animals on Board comes with different game modes. You have Free Play where there is no time limit and you pile up the animals for points. Then there’s the Time Attack where you’re given a minute to see either how many animals you can pile up, how tall you can make your pile or how many pairs of animals you can combine. Finally there is a two player mode that pits Shem versus Noah. The loser in that mode is the one who tips over the arc.

Animals on Board is a quirky game that my children are quite enjoying. My advice is to visit the training section to learn how to best launch the animals. You’re only allowed to have three animals end up in the water before your round is up and that can happen quickly if you’re not careful.

Animals on Board works with the iTunes Game Center.

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
