AT&T Navigator App ~ Memorial Day Giveaway

TeleNav is the company behind the AT&T Navigator:GPS Navigation app. I’ve reviewed their app in the past and still use it fairly frequently. They’ve been generous enough to sponsor a giveaway contest that’s just in time for Memorial Day travel.
Here are the details:
The Prizes – Three winners will each receive a one-year subscription to the AT&T Navigator service. That’s a $120 value for a year of GPS service.
How to Enter – 1. Leave a comment on this post telling me why you need a GPS service in your life. 2. For an additional entry follow @theiPhoneMom and @TeleNav on Twitter then send the tweet “Hi @theiPhonemom I want @TeleNav on my phone.”
Contest Dates – The contest begins today, May 13th and runs through Friday, May 28th at 11:00 pm PST. At that point three random winners will be chosen and notified of their win.

Hi! I would like this for my wife. Presently she uses the Google Maps app and moves herself around on the little map. A proper GPS application would be a better fit for her, as soon as I can convince her of it.
Today she was trying to figure out the optimal way to hit five destinations and make it to the kiddos’ pizza party on time. She could probably make use of one of those apps they make for sales or delivery folks for the best route. But, as you say, it’s not her husband’s iPhone. LOL

I need this because I have lived within 5 blocks of where I grew up and still get lost in my own backyard. Even my children know that they have to be patient when I drive to new places – because my instincts are always wrong. I google directions send them to my phone and will still think “that can’t be the way” and get myself lost. My husband still gives me directions when I say I’m going anywhere – I think he wants to make sure I’ll come back!

I need this because as our children are getting older, we’re able to travel more. I’m used to driving in familiar areas, but it’s no fun at all for kids to be lost when we’re on the road. And the Google Map works, but it’s not very fast when you don’t have 3G coverage. I’ve missed more than one exit in a congested city because my map was slow to update.

Hi iPhone Mom,
I would love to have this app because I’ve been reviewing my options since I got my phone in October and haven’t seen anything stand out. Also, I’m very frugal (hello, cheap) because I’m a single mom. I do a LOT of driving with the toddler (NC to Toronto in June!), and this would be extremely handy.

I’d love to win! I share a GPS with my husband, and he often *forgets* to put the GPS back into my car. I NEVER leave home without my phone, so I’d LOVE to win this!!!!

My husband will be gone for up to 6 weeks, about 12 hours away. I’d love to use this for trips to see him, not to mention not getting lost without him being home. The kids could appreciate that on their summer break too

Well, with 3 boys (5, 5, and 6) it gets very loud and distracting in the car. All 3 of them are backseat drivers and they never agree on which way to turn, or what street we’re on. I think it would be great if we could all listen to the little lady in the phone tell us where to go.

I need this because my husband says i can’t find my way out of a paper bag! My husband can figure out which direction is north even if he is blindfolded and underground. I can’t find my car parked at the mall!
