This app is a fantastically fun way to teach your kids about different emotions while engaging in play. Your kid will instantly fall in love with the crazy animal friends that come to play in this app. Since downloading this app last week, every one of my family from my 2 year old to my husband has played (and thoroughly enjoyed) this app! Players can choose from 3 zany animals: a crazy zebra, a bashful sheep and a happy-go-lucky giraffe. When the animal appears on the screen, so do a variety of toys and props that you can use to interact with that character and elicit emotional responses. You can feed the animals a variety of foods and try to figure out which ones they like and which ones they don’t based on their reactions. Dress them up in silly glasses or hats and watch them make silly faces or act embarrassed. A plethora of mustaches is available to try on with bowties, wigs and crowns. There are musical instruments for them to play, whistles to blow, megaphones to talk into…the possibilities are truly endless. Some costume combinations will even change the background on the screen and the animal will transform into a pilot or a fireman. Once you get tired of the props on your screen, drag the lever on the right hand side down and a whole new batch of props will appear! I absolutely recommend this app to any family. I really love apps that I can play with my children and enjoy as much as they do. We have had so much fun playing with these cute animal characters and watching their different reactions to what we do to them. Not only have we laughed together and spent time together, but it has been a fantastic way to teach my younger children about different emotions and how our actions can elicit emotions in others. One of our favorite things to do with this app is to pick a prop and then make predictions about how the animal will respond to it. This app is not one that your children will grow bored with quickly. The variety and endless combinations of props keep the fun coming. The graphics and sound effects are amazing and truly add to the experience of playing this app. This is by far, one of my favorite apps that I have reviewed thus far. Avokiddo Emotions is innovative, educational, engaging and just downright fun! Download it today and take a few minutes to giggle with your kids!
