Big Blue Box Farm Review Nikki February 11, 2014 $1-$2, Age, Education, Features, Games, iPad, Kindergarten, Preschoolers, Price, Reviews, The iPhone Mom Likes ..., Toddlers 2 Comments «»The Big Blue Box Farm is beautifully illustrated with cute characters, and features fun music and sound effects as well. Kids will get to guess who is hiding behind the Big Blue Box in a game of peek-a-boo. There are lots of fun surprises, and kids will love the satisfaction of figuring out what something is from clues. I like how the app functions as a digital game of peek-a-boo, and uses the element of surprise to identify images and sounds. There are also 30 clues given to help your child guess the animal, some of the clues are visual and some are animated with sound effects. Kids can learn and develop through cognitive play and repetition. This app features opportunities for little ones to develop and improve their fine motor skills through tapping on the screen and moving puzzle pieces around as well. There are 10 interactive animals that change order each time you play. Kids can play a final scene jigsaw puzzle that allows you to select 4, 6, 9 or 12 pieces to change the level of difficulty for the specific child playing. I really liked the fun interactions like: opening the barn door to meet the farmer and tapping the windmill to make it spin. I love how kid-friendly and easy-to-use the app is. I really enjoyed the Big Blue Box Farm app. I think that this app would be a great app for younger children and parents to play together. I know my son enjoys playing the app and trying to guess the different animals hiding behind the Big Blue Box! Disclosure: I received a free copy of this app for review purposes. Reply Anthony February 12, 2014 My two year old loves guessing the animals. I can see her confidence build when she guesses the correct animals, she also loves finding the farmer in the barn.
