A new set of Bob Books was recently released into the App Store. Bob Books #2 – Reading Magic is the follow up app to the first set of Bob Books. The new set includes twelve new scenes and more than fifty words. I thought the first app was great but the developers have made improvements and updates to this one that have made things even better. Learning Touch has done a great job sticking with what makes the Bob Books work but giving them just enough interactivity to win over the app crowd. I don’t think you want too much noise and commotion with an app like this and I appreciate the understated way they approach the interactions.

We just finished the first set in paper form with my five year old. She kind of tired of them, so i’m hoping the novelty of the second set in digital form will help keep her enthusiastic!

LOVE these books! I have the first set for my 5 year old on my iPad and the rest of the real books (first 3 boxes) have been gifts for her the past year (birthday, Christmas, Pre-K graduation)! I’d love to get her the 2nd set for the iPad! Thanks

I am so excited about these BOB books!! I have an early reader and I am a single mom…making time to help teach my boy to read takes time but with the BOB books it’s easy and so worth it! I love my boy and I love what BOB books adds to his life and mine!!

Bob Books are some of the best books around.
I discovered them in a Resource Room being used for remedial instruction. Soon enough I was partnering with this instructor and seeing several students engaged and flourishing using these books.

I love the BOB books and to be able to use it on an iPad would be incredible! I teach in a special ed classroom and have just begun using the iPad for my students. BOB books are great at teaching phonetic strategies to the early readers.
