Buildo History is the follow-up app to Buildo Rescue Sticker Book. Here again we have a unique sticker book but this time instead of a rescue theme we get three scenes from history. The historical scenes include prehistoric times, the vikings and a medieval scene. Each scene is done as a panorama so that as you swipe to see the scene you will eventually come back around to the point where you began. It’s like viewing the scene as a 360 degree panorama. Each scene comes with a variety of stickers. Vikings, cavemen, dinosaurs, knights, court jesters, viking ships and more are all included. Children simply tap on a sticker and drag it onto the picture. The stickers can be rearranged and easily resized. The app also comes with sound effects to finish out the fun.
My family enjoyed Buildo Rescue because it offered a different take on the sticker book app, especially for boys. Now here is a sticker book that is just as original and I appreciate how the developers have tied in a little bit of education. I think an app like this is a great way to introduce children to history and get them thinking about it in a fun, fresh way.
