If you’re in the mood to spiff up your texts and messages then take a look at CoolTextBubbles. The app lets you type in your message and set a background image. It then combines the two, creating an image that can be copied and pasted into a message. CoolTextBubble works with messages for SMS, iMessage and Facebook. When you send your text your message appears in the custom message bubble that you created.
CoolTextBubbles comes with a variety of background images that can be accessed through their online gallery. You can also take a picture from your Photo Library and turn that into a background image. I liked that personalized feature. When adding your text you have eight colors to choose from. You’ll want to take note that you will be sending an image so be aware if your plan charges for that. When I was testing out this app my girls were ooohing and ahhing over the cute text bubbles. It’s just the kind of app they love.
A free version of CoolTextBubbles is also available. It has a limited number of background images and doesn’t have the ability to use photos as background images.
