Dino Mixer

Do you have a little dinosaur expert in your house? If so, you’ll want to grab this app. Dino Mixer lets you mix and match dinosaur heads, bodies and tails. You do this by swiping your finger up and down over the different dino parts. You can make silly dinosaurs, scary dinosaurs or dinosaurs that actually look like they’re supposed too. When you match three parts correctly the name of the dinosaur shows up on the screen. If you slide your finger from left to right across your iPhone screen the background picture changes. The app comes with dinosaury noises but you can easily turn them off. I was really impressed with the artwork behind this app. It’s done by Charley Parker who’s also behind www.dinosaurcartoons.com. He tells me that free updates will be coming soon. They’ll include more dinosaurs, backgrounds and other new features.

My son thinks Dino Mixer is great. I think it’s wonderful to see an app that keeps the kids entertained without being a noisy game.
