In October Heather tried her hand at animation using the Doink Animation & Drawing app for iPad. Now the fun comes to the iPhone and iPod Touch with Doink Express -Messages with Photos, Animations, Drawings & Sound, allowing you to be creative anytime, anywhere.
Doink Express is a fun, creative way to add life, interest and excitement to short messages using animations, drawings, photos and sound. There are endless ways to create unique custom messages using photos from your camera roll, your own custom art or animations, Doink art props, and sound. Then share your “doinks” in a stream for all your friends to see, post on Facebook, or send in an email. Check out what your friends create and the doinks of other creative people around the world. Or you can “direct doink” a message for only one person to see.
A short tutorial on YouTube demonstrates how to a create flip book animation with stick figures. That’s about my speed and it had me thinking that maybe even I could be an animator.

Looks a bit complicated, but fun to learn and keep my brain active and artistic ( I’m sure my kid would get it in 2 seconds though).
