Flori the Giraffe is back in a new app that mixes story with activities. In Flori’s Adventure readers will meet Flori’s friends: Tino the monkey, Zebri the zebra, Mia the flamingo and Nala the elephant. In this story Flori is helping Tino find his lost tools so he can work on a building project. As readers help Flori look for the tools they will also collect ten special, hidden flowers and a Go-Cart race at the end of the story. If they want to earn points then there are also 100 white flowers scattered throughout the story just waiting to be collected.
Each time through Flori’s Adventure the tools and the hidden flowers will be in new hiding spots. The app has a Read by Myself and Read to Me mode with narration done in both English and German. Sound effects and music complete the listening experience. The app is integrated with Game Center so points and scores from the Go Cart race can be recorded and compared with other users.
Flori’s Adventure is available in separate versions for the iPad and iPhone/iPod Touch. The iPad version is currently on sale for $.99.
