Fox in Socks has just been released by Oceanhouse Media. I had a chance to give it a try last night and it’s full of plenty of rhyming tongue-twisting Seussical fun. I have no idea how many takes it took to get the narration just right, there are some tricky sentences in this one! My husband was listening while I played around with the app and he kept asking me “What did she just say?” He claims to have never read this Dr. Seuss book before growing up.
The trademark Oceanhouse touches are present in Fox in Sox. Tap on the screen to see and hear a vocabulary word. Tao around for silly sound effects. Listen to a narrated version of the story or attempt Fox’s tongue twisters yourself. The story has been developed for both the iPad and iPhone so one purchase gets you an app that will look fantastic on any device.
