Two more memory games from the team at Juicebox Software. They’re the folks behind the Animal Coloring Book and Animal Memory Game apps.  Visit my review of Animal Memory to read my summary of how it works because Fruits & Vegetables and Sweets & Treats works in the very same way. Each game has theme choices and then three difficulty levels to choose from.  The graphics are clean and cute and the games play smoothly. I’m partial to the Sweets & Treats version but that’s only because if I have a choice between a piece of fruit or a cookie, I am always going to choose the cookie.  Or the candy, or ice cream, or cake….

I’ve been delighted with everything I’ve seen from Juicebox Software and hope they keep their apps coming.

Price when Reviewed: $.99

I have a 4 year old and 2 year old cousin. Both of them are crazy for Juicebox Software’s Robot Memory Game. There are three levels of play: Easy (4 cards), Medium (8 cards), and Hard (16 cards), so there are levels to challenge them both. There are also four themes for them to choose from: Friendly, Evil, Silly, and Wacky, which helps keep the game from getting too repetitive. This game is laid out in a way that’s easy for them to navigate, and the images of the robots are adorable. This game is definitely worth it, as it keeps them entertained for long periods of time. The folks at Juicebox do a wonderful job. They’ve got three more memory games and a coloring book app available, but the Robot Memory game is my cousins’ favorite.

Individual Text Tones for Contacts

My 9 year old daughter told me about an iOS 5 feature that I was totally unaware of until last week. Miss S. showed me how to set up individual text tones for my contacts.

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
