Gantt Chart

Gantt Chart is an application that will help you track projects. It allows you to name a project and then enter in all the steps/tasks within that project. You name the steps and enter in the start and finish dates. When you’ve entered in all your information you can view it in a report format.

This is a simple app that would be best used on small projects where you don’t need to record extensive notes about the steps. There was a glitch I kept running into. Several times I tried to edit a finish date. When I’d pull up the edit screen the date had reset to one that was earlier then the start date. Then I’d get an alert telling me end dates couldn’t come before start dates. I’d tap okay but the alert would pop up several more times. I don’t know if it was user error but it got a little irritating.

There’s potential to this app and it’d be nice if it could provide a way to record additional details about the projects. Things like who was in charge of the tasks, or important details, that kind of thing.

WebMD Baby

WebMD Baby was released earlier this month and it is awesome! Seriously one of the best “baby” apps I’ve seen to date

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
