Gift Guru

Gift Guru is a free app that helps you keep track of special occasions and who you need to buy gifts for. You can enter your own “recipients” or import them from your iPhone contact list. For a free app, Gift Guru had a surprising amount of layers to it. It seemed like as I was going along I kept going from screen to screen to enter more information. For me this wasn’t a good thing. I’d like to see the information be more easily accessible. I felt like I had to go through too many steps to enter gifts and keep track of them. The app just didn’t have an ease of use for me. If you do decide to give this app a try I highly recommend checking out the help section before you do anything else. There’s a button at the bottom of your screen that will take you there. You’ll find a detailed tutorial that explains how to use the app. It helped me a little bit but not enough for me to make this THE app I use to keep up on my gift giving. But it’s a good one to start with simply because it is free. Free didn’t work for me, but it might for you.
