Grow With Me is a complete and thorough tool for helping you keep track of your children from birth on up. When you have a baby in the house you can keep daily logs of feeding, diaper changes and sleep patterns. As your child grows you can track records of their growth and illnesses. The illness records can include dates, time, temperatures and symptoms. Medication can be noted and you can also set up alerts that will remind you when it’s time for the next dose. An immunization schedule shows recommended shots from birth to eleven years. Feeding, diapers, sleep, growth, sickness and medication records can all be exported from the app.
If you want to keep track of your children’s appointments along with the rest of their information then you may be interested in Grow With Me’s calendar. It’s set up similarly to the iPhone’s calendar. There is also an emergency contacts section that can be broken down into doctors, hospitals, family and friends. In addition to all of the record keeping features Grow With Me also has free baby announcement templates. Templates are available for boys, girls and twins. They can be filled in with photographs and text and then emailed out to family and friends.
Grow With Me seems to have covered all of the vital things you’d want to track as your children grow. It does this in a way that’s easy to use and pleasant to look at. There’s no doubt that this is a terrific and useful app but it seems a dollar or two more expensive than I think it should be. Just my two cents. Update 8/5/11 – Price is now $2.00 less and only $2.99. Much better!
