Here is this week’s Holiday App Guide – Part 1!  Enjoy!

Wubbzy’s The Night Before Christmas:  For all those Wubbzy fans out there – here is a special Wubbzy Christmas app!  Wubbzy’s The Night Before Christmas is a deluxe storybook app version of the classic The Night Before Christmas holiday poem.  This app features 3 reading modes to accommodate children of all reading levels: 1) Read & Play – in this mode, you can read the story to your child as they tap and interact on each page, 2) Read to Me – in this mode, your child will listen to narration and tap to interact with the story, and 3) Just A Book – in this mode, children will read the story as a good, old-fashioned picture book (all sounds and interactions are turned off – perfect for bedtime/quiet time!).  Kids can enjoy fun games inside the story, there are three mini-games total: 1) Santa’s Sleigh Ride, 2) Wuzzle Tree Dress-Up, and 3) Snowman Dress-Up.  There are even 3 original sing-along music videos for kids to dance and sing to – Gift of Joy, Wubbzy Wiggle and Holiday Light.  But, that’s not all, after kids have read the story and enjoyed the sing-along songs, they can also color some of their favorite scenes from the story!  If you have Wubbzy fans in your house – this is definitely a Christmas app to check out!  Requirements: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad. iPad Screenshot 1Rudolph’s Gift:  Rudolph’s Gift is a fun new Christmas app that is fun for adults and children!  With Rudolph’s Gift, the goal is to play as Rudolph as he leads Santa’s sleigh and delivers presents to children all around the world.  This app features dual controls – you will move Rudolph with one hand and shine his light with the other.  Players can collect power-ups and upgrade Rudolph’s abilities as they deliver as many presents as possible all while dodging obstacles.  Power-ups include items such as Cloud Busters, Invincibility, 4X Presents and more!  You can fly with different characters as well – Santa, Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius, etc. and choose different sleigh colors!  If you are a fan of Rudolph – check out this fun, free app!  Requirements: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad.
