iBowl is really simple. You start it up, choose play, pick your bowling alley and then bowl away. Tap arrows to line your ball up. Then swing your iPhone back and then forward, just like you’re bowling. A note – you really, really have to trust your child before letting them use this app. Unlike those wii remotes there’s no wrist strap for your iPhone. iBowl has authentic bowling noises – yes – noisy pins! But no cigarette smoke to seep into your clothes and follow you home. An ideal free app.
