iLearn With the Mighty Jungle Animals!

Do you have a 3-7 year old with an interest in animals? If so, this is the app for you and your child. iLearn With the Mighty Jungle Animals! HD is a high quality educational iPad game that makes you feel like you’re hanging out in the jungle with friends. The game is hosted by Babu the Meerkat and he needs your child’s help with a game of hide and seek.

There are three levels to Babu’s game. Level One is Appearance, Level Two is Habitat and Level Three is Living Habitat (animal behaviors). Babu will ask your child to choose a level and then he will give them a map that shows which way his friend went. The challenge is to figure out the animals that Babu’s friend saw along the way. This is where Babu comes in again. He will show your child several animals and then ask them to touch an animal that fits a clue. If your child is playing Level One he might ask them to touch the animals that have fur. In Level Two he might ask them to touch the animals that live in the ocean. Level Three might ask which animals lay eggs. Each clue narrows things down until the answer is finally revealed. Then it’s on to the next animal until your child reaches the end of the map and Babu’s friend pops out to say hello.

Each of iLearn’s levels increases in difficulty. The game meets the National Standards for Life Science in Pre-K and Kindergarten and based on what we saw when we played the game your child will absolutely learn. As they play the game it will adapt to the number of right and wrong answers that they give so frustration will be limited. The app ran smoothly and we didn’t experience a single glitch.

iLearn With the Mighty Jungle Animals! was created by the developers of the online learning programs PBS KIDS PLAY! and CBC Wonderworld. Their experience shows because this really is a terrific app. The adapted difficulty makes the game very friendly for young players and since no reading is involved they’ll be able to play by themselves. It’s wonderful to see an app for Pre-K and Kindergarteners that focuses on the Life Sciences. I’ll be looking forward to the next iLearn app from Tribal Nova.

**The app is on sale for $.99 for one week only. That is an absolute steal and I’d personally pay several dollars more for this game. If you have kids in this age range and an iPad grab this app while it’s on sale.**
