Those of you who have been reading the site for awhile will probably remember that I talked about the Isotoner SmarTouch gloves last year. These gloves are incredible because they are warm AND they have conductive thread embroidered into the thumb and index fingers. This lets you operate your touchscreen while you are wearing the gloves. Anyone who has ever had to take off gloves in the cold to make a phone call knows how awesome that is. The gloves are back and better than ever this year with more styles. You can see in the screenshots that the SmarTouch gloves now come in stretch leather and knit. I’m coveting the green knit gloves myself.
I have a pair of the original gloves and they’re a nice snug fit. You can read my original review from last year and I’ll tell you that after using them all winter they held up and never let me down. I’d highly recommend them to any of my friends.
Now for some fun. I have two contests to tell you about. The first is here on the site. Isotoner has offered to give a pair of gloves away to one of my readers. They did this last year and I was excited to receive the offer again. If you could use a pair of gloves please leave a comment below and tell me! I’m going to leave this contest open for a week and a winner will randomly be chosen next Tuesday evening. That’s November 1st.
Next, Isotoner is running their own contest. It’s called the Misfit Gift Contest and it looks like fun. I actually entered, I usually don’t but I had something that fit and I thought why not? I could use some of these prizes! All you need to do is upload a photo of a misfit gift that you’ve received. The gifts that receive the most votes will go on to the semi-finals and so on. If you don’t have a gift then come over and vote, they’re also handing out prizes (including gloves!) to those who are voting.
I’m not a fan of self-promotion but I’m going to make a plug because my misfit gift came from my kids and I’d sure love a shot at winning prizes for them. Here is the link to my entry. It’s not the best photo, I snapped it several years ago on an old phone. The spoons sadly, are no longer here so I couldn’t stage them properly and show them off in the best lighting. I have raynaud’s syndrome which affects the circulation to my extremities and I have to wear gloves ALL the time! It would be great to be able to use my phone without risking frozen fingers!

So I think I just posted my answer but its not showing and it told me that I duplicated, but just in case it doesnt show up. I had said that I would love a pair of gloves like this as I live in Bismarck ND and this california girl gets cold but I deal with it so my two autistic children can get great therapy and live in a stress free state with some amazing people, no traffic and no smog. Thanks so much for the opportunity to maybe get a treat for myself! and I figured after 6 years a nice pair of gloves is WAY overdue
