This Itsy Bitsy Spider is described as a “musical coloring book”. As stated, it combines two kid favorites – music and coloring. The app shows a great big coloring page illustrating Itsy Bitsy’s adventures (or misadventures I suppose). Your child can tap anywhere on the coloring page and the app will zoom into that section of the illustration. Now they can choose a color and tap on the picture to color it in. When they’re done they can move on to another part of the page. Meanwhile they’ll be hearing an adorable, jazzy, child-sung version of “The Itsy Bitsy Spider”. The music is catchy and features lots of giggles. It’s hard not to be happy and want to color when you’re listening to it. I found this to be a very cute app and my son has enjoyed it as well. The above is a screenshot of his coloring work. I’m thinking it must have been “one of those days” because he appears to have been in a really red mood.

    Hi,

    Thank you for that.

I hope your kid is going to have more colorful days :-)

And I’m glad he liked that.

WebMD Baby was released earlier this month and it is awesome! Seriously one of the best “baby” apps I’ve seen to date

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
