I’ve Jumped on the bandwagon but PLEASE don’t call me the iPad Mom!

March 29, 2010

I was all set to ignore the iPad until it had gone through a few versions and the inevitable tweaking that Apple is sure to do. Then I began getting emails from developers mentioning how they were working on iPad apps and by the way would I be interested in promo codes. I made an offhand remark to my husband about one of these emails and he confessed that he was planning on secretly ordering an iPad. My first reaction was “Don’t!” but then I took another look at it online and (even though I still hate the name) I’ve been swayed.  So yes, I’m going to be one of those people who took the bait and has an iPad delivered to their door on Saturday.  I’ll let you know what I think of it next week!

I can’t wait to hear what you think! I can use your opinions on the apps as a reason to buy an iPad when my husband asks!

Eagerly awaiting your verdict! I’m thinking of purchasing one in the next generation, if they add a built-in iSight camera.

I was hoping for a camera too…and a few other features. But I also didn’t want the iPhone either until my husband got me one for my birthday and he’s probably right about this too…let’s hope he doesn’t read my comments or I’ll never hear the end of it!

What do you think???

WebMD Baby

WebMD Baby was released earlier this month and it is awesome! Seriously one of the best “baby” apps I’ve seen to date

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
