List Pro is a free, serious list making app for the serious list makers. It comes with four general list categories and enough templates to keep you tracking your life for a long, long time. Here’s an overview of the different lists covered by List Pro.
To Do - Create a To Do list to keep your day on track. Once you add a list you’re given a chance to add in tasks, categorize them and give them a priority level and due date. You may also add in any notes you’ll need to clarify the task. When you have assignments on your To Do list you can sort the items in different orders or filter what you see based on several criteria.
Shopping - The Shopping List section comes with an example list to get you up and running. When you add items to your list you are given the opportunity to enter an item, the quantity you need , the store (and department) where you’ll find it, it’s price and any notes you may need. Items show up on your shopping list and can be marked off as you add them to your shopping cart. You’ll have the ability to filter and sort shopping items like you can with the To Do lists.
Checklists - To me the Checklists felt like a To Do list but with less detail. When you add an item to your checklist you may name it and add notes but not much more. The item shows up on your list and you’ll literally check things off as you go. The sorting and filtering options are also available here.
Custom Lists - Custom Lists is where you can find thirty-five different list templates. Here you can customize different functions within the lists. and set up synchronization with the List Pro desktop software. There are also tutorials to read for help with the app. There’s much more you can do with the Custom Lists section, I barely scratched the surface.
List Pro feels like a thorough list making app, one that does more than I personally will ever need. When you combine it with the desktop software you’ll have no excuse for not making a list ever again.
