Madera & Figaro are back in a brand new app that’s designed for both the iPhone and the iPad. Ginger the cat has been rescued and now the friends must help clean up their town so a big party can go on. As you play through the story you’ll encounter interactive problems that you must solve in order for the story to continue. Every activity that you do plays a part in helping Madera & Figaro save the day. There are lots of things to touch and play with on each screen. The mice in the original Madera & Figaro story were a big hit at my house. They’re back and just as silly as ever. They seem larger this time around which makes them easier to find and play around with. I tried the app out on my iPhone and the graphics were bright and sharp, I’ll bet they will look terrific on my iPad too.
For the final word I’ll let my five year old sum up the app – “This app is fun and for a little kid it’d be really fun!” Since he’s so very old I’m going to interpret little kid to mean an older toddler or young preschooler (3-4 year olds) and he’s right, this is the kind of app they’ll get a kick out of.

I am a teacher for students with disabilities ages 5-21. Madera & Figaro Save the Day would be a great app for them use! From your review I gather that this app would be able to tie in literacy, auditory, and math skills for my students. As much cross curricular applications do my students well, they need repetition on these types of skills. Thank you for your recommendation!
