Max – The Mouse with (almost) Perfect Manners tells the tale of one Max Nibblington. He is a very nice mouse who politely travels about on his motor scooter. One evening Max takes his friend Molly out to dinner where they encounter a not so polite kitty cat. The adventure gives Max a chance to be a hero and his manners never waver. He and Molly enjoy a wonderful dinner but at the end of the story we find out exactly why Max’s manners are almost perfect. Let’s just say that it’s that “almost” that got my son giggling during the story.
Max’s illustrations play out like a comic strip and this is a sweet story with charming British narration and cute sound effects and music.
