Memory And Alphabet HD Review
Are you looking for ways to help your child improve their vocabulary and also their memory and retention of what they learn? The new Memory And Alphabet HD app is intended to do just that – help children to learn their alphabet, increase their vocabulary, and help to improve their memory. I thought that this app had a great design and would be very effective in teaching little ones.
This app features three different modes: Image Matching, Word Making, and Memory. With Image Matching, the goal is for children to match a word with an image; kids will do so by scrolling through images until they find the one that matches the word they have been assigned (there are 10 images to scroll through to choose from). I really liked how there was applause when kids matched correctly to give positive reinforcement and encouragement. Children will be given 1 minute to match as many words with images as possible. The next mode is Word Making. With Word Making, the goal is for kids to pop bubbles to spell a word correctly. First, kids will be shown a word and then be asked to pop the correct bubbles to spell it, then they will be shown the image of the word (i.e. “d-o-g” = dog). Lastly, we have Memory. In the Memory game, kids will memorize all images they are shown and then have to select three images that match the ones they were shown previously (there are only 5 images shown to begin with). This app features 170 words with sounds in total.
I really enjoyed the Memory And Alphabet HD app. I think that this app is a great way to help preschoolers and toddlers with their spelling, reading and memory skills. I will definitely be using this app with my son and I encourage parents of young children to check it out!
