More Christmas Apps

December 10, 2009

A few more Christmas apps that have come my way.

Toddler Puzzle Christmas – This one is for definitely for toddlers, not for older kids. The app displays a Christmas picture with a missing half and they’ll need to tap on the correct match. One picture is displayed at a time and there are lots of encouraging bravos and hoorays.

SantaMessage2U – My mom saw this app featured on her local news. It allows you to record a personalized message from Santa for your kids. The iTunes description says it has voice re-modulation, background noise (busy little elves) and the ability to make your voice sound like an elf. I haven’t tried it out but the concept is clever.

Xmas Frames – Lets you frame photos in Christmas scenes.  You can also use pre-made scenes instead of your own photos. Text can be added and the final photos can be emailed, saved or posted to Facebook. I haven’t tried this one but I’ve got a promo code for the first person to leave a comment with their favorite Christmas song.

Hey, I found a mobile web portal at http://iApps4free.com with fun games to feel Christmas spirit for free (link accessible with iPhone and mobiles).
There are for instance a christmas pics puzzle with magical pics and a fun tic tac toe “Santa vs. Deer”.
And there are also plenty of other web apps and games for iPhone.

I enjoyed it so, I wanted to share ;-)

What do you think???

WebMD Baby

WebMD Baby was released earlier this month and it is awesome! Seriously one of the best “baby” apps I’ve seen to date

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
