Overview
The Notabli app was created in the hopes of helping parents capture, save and share their children’s most notable moments. With Notabli, parents can have access to an on-the-go journal of sorts. One of my favorite things about Notabli is that it features a safe, private network to share moments of your children with your closest family and friends.
At the beginning of the app, parents will need to create an account. When creating an account, you will be given the option to sign up using Facebook or sign up using an email account. Signing up is simple, it just requires your name and password really and then hit “Join”. The next step is to “Add Your Kids”, and then begin adding memories to the file so to speak. One feature I like is the ability for up to two people to manage and post moments for each child, so both parents can add things, etc. Uploading “moments” is a snap, you simply choose a format and add your moment. The different types of moments that can be added with the click of a button are as follows: photo, video, voice recording, quotes, or written thoughts (stories). When adding photos, you can either choose an existing photo or take a new photo with your device and then edit the photo and add a caption, date, milestone, location and even share directly to Facebook or Twitter! When adding a video, you can choose a video from your library and then add information about the video. Voice recording is also an option, this is a great way to share a thought that you are having at the moment as you are feeling it. I thought that the quote option was fun, this is the perfect place to insert a funny saying from your little one, right when you hear it before you forget! And, of course, there is the option to just share a written thought or story as well, a little journaling if you will. As I said before, no one can see anything in Notabli unless they have been invited by a parent…the app is private by default.
I really enjoyed the Notabli app. I think that parents would love having this private network to store all of their children’s special moments and being able to share them with close family and friends. It is always nice to have an on-the-go solution for capturing our special moments, and Notabli delivers. I would encourage parents to check this one out for sure!
