Do you have a child that likes music? Or how about a child that wants to learn how to play the piano? If so, you should definitely check out the new Noteimals app! With Noteimals, young children can learn to play the piano while being guided by friendly animal faces. I thought that this app had a great concept, and I think it will make learning how to play the piano a lot of fun!
The Noteimals app features two modes of play: Free Play – kids can simply play around any way they want, and Play a Tune – this mode allows kids to follow along with popular beginner tunes. This app is a new learning program for kids who are beginning music students, specifically piano players. In Noteimals, the Standard Notes take on caricatures of friendly animals, this makes the notes easier to learn and memorize for kids. The goal of the app is to help even the youngest of kids to play the piano and learn musical notes, even kids as young as 3 years old!
Noteimals would be the perfect app for teaching music at home or in a classroom setting. Teachers could also use the Animal Notes concept to teach students (maybe a kindergarten class) musical notes. I like that each animal has a special story that will help students to remember the animal and the standard note’s location on the Grand Staff. I also think the app is a great way for kids to practice playing the keys, especially for those who may not have access to a real piano.
I really enjoyed the Noteimals app. I think that this app could be very useful in teaching young children how to play the piano and memorize the standard music notes. I will definitely be introducing this app to my 3 year old son!
Disclosure: I received a free copy of this app for review purposes.
