One Fish, Two Fish & Oh, the Places You’ll Go! from Dr. Seuss

June 9, 2010

The fabulous library of Dr. Seuss apps has grown again! Oceanhouse Media has released two new Dr. Seuss e-books – One Fish, Two Fish and Oh, the Places You’ll Go! I haven’t tried out either app but based on what I’ve seen from the Dr. Seuss apps in the past I’m certain they’ll be fantastic.

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and Oh, the Places You’ll Go are both available for $3.99 in and compatible with both iPad and iPhone.

I just read on the Oceanhouse website that Hop on Pop is coming soon. Now I’m crossing my fingers that Green Eggs with Ham is on the horizon!

I bought Cat in the Hat when they had a promo and would love to buy this new app as well, but I think 3.99 is too expensive for what it is.

…but at 3.99… that is a lot of money for 1 app.

I agree with Amy. I like Dr Seuss and would love to share more of his stories with my kids. The fact that it’s available for an app is great too, but that is pricey for an app.

They are pricier than some of the other children’s books but bear in mind the $3.99 ones are universal apps with updated artwork for the iPad. I think I bought 3 and would certainly buy more if they were cheaper. In addition check out the non-Dr Seuss ones such as “Unstoppable Me” and “I think I Am”. I thought they were quite good.

That is a good point. We don’t have an ipad yet, but want one. If we get one it will need apps and they can be $$$$. 3.99 is not bad for an ipad app.

What do you think???

WebMD Baby was released earlier this month and it is awesome! Seriously one of the best “baby” apps I’ve seen to date

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
