Would you like to create a storybook where your child is the star? Or how about a cartoon movie where your little one is the main character? Meet, PICME Moviebook, the app that allows you to create a personalized storybook and cartoon movie! I thought that this app was fun and unique – and I think that kids will love seeing themselves on the screen!
When starting out, you will first select a photo of your child to use (one where their head can be easily cropped would be best). Then, you will crop the picture so that only their head is showing…their head will be placed on a cartoon character’s body. Now, sit back and watch their character be created! I have to say, it was pretty cute putting a photo of my little guy on the screen and watching him play the piano and dance around.
Once you have your character, your little one can watch themselves on the screen as they star in their very own personalized storybook and cartoon movie. The storybook can be enjoyed on your own with the Auto Read off, or you can listen to read-aloud text with your child. Some of the other characters in the book include a giraffe, an elephant, a monkey, a lion, and other favorite animals. While listening to the story there is even a page where kids can play the piano!
I thought that the PICME Moviebook app was fun and unique. I think that kids would love to see themselves as the star of the book and cartoon movie. If you have little ones, I would recommend checking out this new storybook app!
