Pimp My Ultrasound is just plain old, silly iPhone fun. The idea is to take your ultrasound photo and jazz it up a bit. The app provides you with all sorts of accessories to add to your picture – hats, sunglasses, and conversation bubbles just to name a few. The “take tour” section was well laid out and very helpful. It explains exactly how you can go about your pimping. That sounded bad. I was impressed with how smoothly you can rotate and resize the accessories you add to your photos. It’s been nicely done. When you’ve got your ultrasound totally pimped out you can add a frame and save the new picture to your camera roll. From there you can share it with the world. I didn’t have an ultrasound photo to play around with so I used one of my kids. The accessories worked just as well with that and it was great fun seeing my son wearing a tiara.
