Do you have mischievous pets in your household? I have a yellow lab who loves to “discover things for herself”, especially when she was younger – and we love her for it!
Punky Goldfish is a neat app that features both an interactive story as well as a game. Punky Dunk And The Gold Fish, tells the tale of a mischievous cat who decides one day to play with the gold fish bowl. The app offers the option of Read to Me or Read Myself (which can be paused and resumed) as well as interactive animations which allow the reader to play along with the story. Beginning readers will benefit from the ability to read along slowly as the words are highlighted. Once they finish with the story, they will find a fish game. Here readers may match colors in order to pop bubbles in the fish bowl. My son and I enjoyed the story, interactions, and games of Punky Dunk and I think they’d be suitable for a variety of ages.
