Shakespeare in Bits promo codes for iPad

August 27, 2010

Hooray!! I’ve been given three promo codes to give away for Shakespeare in Bits: Romeo & Juliet. If you have a student who could use a little help with the bard this year please leave me a comment and let me know your favorite Shakespearean work. Mine is Macbeth for many reasons, not the least of which is Lady Macbeth’s line about that darn spot. It’s a line that runs through my head frequently while I’m doing laundry. Thank you college Shakespeare course!!

Promo codes are only valid in the US App Store and they are for the iPad version.. Leave a comment and I’ll choose winners Sunday evening.

    Hi Heather
I’m not looking for a promo card but given your fondness for Macbeth and laundry (!) I thought you might enjoy a podcast about the psychology of hand washing – http://www.abc.net.au/science/articles/2010/08/17/2985159.htm – there’s more to it than you might think!

I would LOVE to win this, I loved reading Shakespeare in school!

Oh, and I would have to say Macbeth too!, but my favorite quote is from Hamlet, being “The lady doth protest too much, methinks.”

My favorite play is Twelfth Night. Read 24 plays in college and loved it!

What do you think???

Individual Text Tones for Contacts

My 9 year old daughter told me about an iOS 5 feature that I was totally unaware of until last week. Miss S. showed me how to set up individual text tones for my contacts.

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
