Spoooooky Toooooning Contest!!!

October 4, 2011

I’ve teamed up with Launchpad Toys and the Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop to create a Spooky Story Contest! Your kids can create a cartoon today for a chance to win $100 to Amazon.

I’m a big fan of creative storytelling here at iPhoneMom and very excited to announce a fantabulous stupendous supercalafragilisticexpialadotious new contest for kids to create and share their favorite Spooky Stories! As our readers can attest, my family LOVES Toontastic (and our kids won’t stop making ‘toons!) so I partnered with the creator of the app, Launchpad Toys, to enable kids to create their own Ghost Story cartoons, post them to a special contest page, and vote on their favorite stories. The winner of the contest gets $100 to Amazon.

To participate in the Spooky Story Contest:

  1. Create a Spooky cartoon using Toontastic for the iPad.
  2. Upload your cartoon to ToonTube and send a link to your cartoon to spookystories@launchpadtoys.com by October 17th.
  3. Participants will be announced on iPhoneMom.com on October 18th. Voting will be open through October 24th.
  4. The contest winner will be announced on iPhoneMom.com on October 25th.
  5. Contest is open to residents of the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia.

Happy Spooky ‘Tooning! We can’t wait to see the bone-chilling tales you and your kids create!

Chalk Walk

Chalk Walk is a very unique iPad app. It has been developed to help your children improve the pincer grip they use to hold a pencil.

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
