I really like how they have organized the various sites. My son’s favorite is the PBS site (we don’t have cable and so PBS and qubo are all that he knows.)

  3. By Heather on Oct 11, 2010

Starfall by far is my child’s favorite site! It’s a great first site for kids where it shows children where to click and is interactive yet fun. My daughter said her kindergarten class used starfall during computer lab. She was so proud to show the other kids around

  4. By Soroya on Oct 11, 2010

    FunBrain is my daughters favorite.

  5. By Selena on Oct 11, 2010

I like EverythingGirl. Oh, so does my daughter. Nice layout to the website too.

  6. By Beth on Oct 11, 2010

Just bookmarked it! So much cool stuff for both of my children and for me and my classroom. Thanks for introducing it! It was easy to navigate for my youngest who is an emerging reader. She could use it independently. She spent the most time on the Games for Girls area and the Animal Shelter game.

NatGeo Kids. Lots of videos on there, and the games are fun, too!

  10. By Robin on Oct 11, 2010

I like Starfall :) I haven’t started my son using it yet but I think from looking around there that he would enjoy it and it is about the right learning level for where he is at now.

we love the sesame street site! I really like how they have all the sites organized. I knew many of them, but I found some new ones as well which is really nice. I used to need to search to find these, but if the site is bookmarked it is super easy to find them now.

  13. By Katie on Oct 11, 2010

Love it! Sesame Street is my favorite, but I am going to check them all out. I have 3 year old grandkids and it is wonderful to have a resource like this.

We have a split decision in my house. Depends on who you ask. My daughters 9 and 11 love Everythinggirl.com- Good, clean fashion fun for girls! And the 4 year old boy and mom love Starfall.com- Good basic learning there!

Starfall has always been a family favorite… Nick Jr is a close second.
This is a great resource and I have already bookmarked it… I do wish that it links to kid friendly playable, rather than just homepages in the future.

I shared this website with my staff at school. They absolutely love it! It gives them peace of mind when students are navigating on the internet. With springo.com kids are able to navigate through the internet safely, securely, and most importantly independently! I would have to say pbs.org is my favorite website. This site gives so many options to all ages and abilities. You can work on colors, shapes, map skills, literacy, numeracy skills all with the kids’ favorite characters! Great job springo!

Chalk Walk

Chalk Walk is a very unique iPad app. It has been developed to help your children improve the pincer grip they use to hold a pencil.

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
