Supermarket Management HD

September 27, 2010

Supermarket Management HD is a time management game that puts you to work at a grocery store. Your character is Kate. She’s just graduated from college and this is her first big job. Kate’s boss is relying on her to keep the shelves stocked, run the checkout and keep the customers happy. Time management games require you to tap on the screen in different locations, directing your character to finish different tasks. That’s the way things work in Supermarket Managament HD. If your store shelves are empty just tap on them and Kate will hurry right over and stock the shelves. When she’s done with that job there will be another task to attend to. Each level has different points goals and you must meet that number. When you’ve reached your goal you can move on to a new level with increased difficulty. Points earn you coins which can be used to unlock new features for the supermarket. Features will improve your stop and help Kate move faster.

There are forty-nine different levels to this game, set in four different stores. You’ll also find mini games and assistants to hire along the way. The graphics look terrific in HD and I’d rather play a time management game on the iPad than the iPhone. Gives my chubby fingers more room to hustle. The only drawback that I found to the app is it’s price. It seems about a dollar too high to me. All in all Supermarket Management HD is a smooth running, addicting game that’s great for wasting a few minutes here and there.

If you’d like to try before you buy there is a Lite version of Supermarket Management HD available in iTunes.

Chalk Walk is a very unique iPad app. It has been developed to help your children improve the pincer grip they use to hold a pencil.

What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
