Halloween Apps Part Three

Because of time restraints this will be the last Halloween Apps round up for the year. The original list and part two are still online for your reading pleasure. These are apps that are new this year and have been brought to my attention by developers. If you’d like a blast from the past you [...]

The Witch Has an Itch

We’re one week out from Halloween and here is a cute story about a mean, nasty witch who develops a bothersome itch. Gromelda just cannot figure out what is causing her to itch. She tries all sorts of magic to stop the itching but it only makes it worse. Finally, a wise wizard suggests that [...]

Halloween Apps Part Two

Even more Halloween apps have been coming through my inbox since I published my first Halloween list last week. Once again, to get them on the site before the 31st I’m posting descriptions from the developers, with some minor editing or commentary in a few cases. You may also have noticed Halloween apps popping up [...]

Colortoons Halloween Giveaway!

Over a year ago I reviewed Colortoons, a coloring app for younger children. Now a special Colortoons Halloween version has been released. There are eight monsters for children to color. Adapted Book – Five Pumpkins

Here is another Halloween app, titled Adapted Book – Five Pumpkins. This is a take on the classic song about five little pumpkins who were sitting on a gate. The app takes you through the song, one pumpkin at a time. After each pumpkin says their line there is a number to drag across the [...]

iOS 5.01 Released: Includes Fix For iOS 5.0 Battery Life Issue

iOS 5 Gets Its First Update Thanks to my husband Zack for getting this post out about the new iOS 5.1 release. I’ve yet to install the update…but I’ll be following his instructions below. What I Do

I review iPhone apps for moms. I have a decent grasp of techy things but the technical guts (for lack of a better word) of how the apps work are beyond me. So my reviews will be practical and purely subjective. Reviews for moms by a real life, actual mom. My kids will vouch for me.
