Don’t be fooled by the cute graphics and game behind the Think Fast math app – this app will give your math brain a serious workout! The idea is to help feed a little creature called a “Chopa” candy. They stand underneath a lollipop tree and every time you get an answer right the tree drops candies and the critter gobbles them up. But be careful, if you answer wrong the tree feeds the other creature under the tree, a “Chokoz”. The more you feed your Chopa the bigger they’ll grow until you finish the level. But if your Chokoz gets too big the game will be over. Got that?
You can choose to try addition, subtraction, multiplication or division problems. Take note, these aren’t simple problems, they are for kids who already have a firm grasp on their math facts.
I like the concept and execution of this app, but I think the math problems might be a wee bit too hard. The graphics and game seem geared towards an audience younger than those who can actually do this kind of math. Think Fast is definitely for older children.
