Singing with little ones is always fun. At the moment, I sing to my son and he just smiles and dances along; but someday he will be learning how to sing the words as well. In this new app, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, nursery rhymes and karaoke come together to help children sing along. The app features colorful animations and words along the bottom of the screen that encourage participation. There is an option to either sing along with the recorded voice or mute the voice and sing a solo. Perhaps, the star of the show is the ability to record your own version of the song – you are able to record your own voice singing a solo and then listen to it on playback – something that I think many children and adults would enjoy.
I thought that this was an entertaining app, and I like how it encourages creativity by allowing little ones to record their own version of the song. This app would be perfect for a song before bedtime or just a fun way to learn a nursery rhyme. I know that my son and I will enjoy singing along together with Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
