Violet’s The Night Before Christmas

Violet’s The Night Before Christmas is the latest installment in the Violet series of storybook apps from My Black Dog Books. in this story Violet takes on the classic poem ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. The original poem is used for text but the illustrations show things from Violet’s modern point of view. Christmas music plays in the background and there are surprises to discover when you tap the screen. I think my favorite surprise was seeing everything in the stockings after Santa said goodbye. It’s a cute and modern take on a Christmas classic.
