All Different Colors by Jean Ruth is a fun interactive children’s storybook with a great message.  With All Different Colors, children can enjoy a beautifully-illustrated storybook that incorporates positive messages on self-advocacy, self-acceptance and self-confidence.  There is narration to follow along with, and children can easily swipe and touch to navigate through the book.  I thought that this book would be perfect for preschoolers and kindergarteners.

The story begins at morning light, when the box of crayons is “waking up”.  Each color in the crayon box is a different animal, for example – Grey is a cute little grey mouse, and so on.  But, Grey is still waiting for his chance…when will there be a storm cloud to draw, or an elephant?  Every crayon has had their day, their moment in the spotlight, but Grey still has a pointy head.  When will Grey get his turn?  You will have to read to find out!  Let me tell you, there is a very cute and happy ending for all the colors, including Grey the mouse!

I really enjoyed All Different Colors.  I thought the story had a great positive message and a very cute ending.  I would definitely recommend this app to the parents of preschoolers, I will be reading it with my 4 year old son for sure!
