Brought to you by BelugaBloo, the new BelugaBloo Kids Bookstore app is designed to help young readers have a unique and fun learning experience (books are appropriate for ages 1- 12).  With BelugaBloo, kids will have access to an assortment of books with many different topics, including – colors, music, counting, alphabet, animals, classic storybooks, bible stories, educational games and many more!  The BelugaBloo Kids Bookstore is a free download, however books will need to be purchased – although there are free samples of books available for you to try before you purchase the full version!

I thought that the Lullaby Piano Book sample was really fun for kids.  The HD graphics were bright and crisp and the music was great – some classic lullabies included in the full version are “Three Blind Mice” and “Mary Had a Little Lamb”.  So, if your little ones enjoy music, checking out the Lullaby Piano Book sample might be a good place to start with BelugaBloo.  Another great feature to help parents find books is the “age option” – next to all the books you will find a circle that lists the appropriate age for each book – parents can push a button and select a filter to show books for only a certain age, i.e. “3+ as well, very helpful.

When you read books you are given the following reading modes: “Read to me”, Read by myself”, “Autoplay” and “Games”.  So, the app works well for those who are not reading aloud yet, or need a little help.  There are also several language versions available: English, Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin (book selections may vary by language).

I really enjoyed the BelugaBloo Kids Bookstore app.  I thought that the app provided a good selection of books and was very user-friendly as far as navigation (resembles iBooks setup).  I recommend checking out BelugaBloo if you and your little ones like to read and are looking for new and interesting books.
