I am a very busy mom. I have four kids and a husband who need me to help with homework, drive carpools, cook meals, keep the house somewhat clean, and there is always laundry to be done. I volunteer at the school in the classrooms and with the PTA. I try to go to the gym 5 times a week and have a part-time job. I’m sure most of you can relate! When schedules get busy and days get full, it is easy to let some of the details fall through the cracks. Things you mean to do get forgotten or pushed down the priority chain. I’m often telling my husband things like, “Text me tomorrow and remind me to do this…” or “Text me tomorrow with that phone number of the person I need to call.” Ninety-nine percent of the time, he forgets to text me because he is busy as well! Capsule is an ingenious new app that helps with that problem, by allowing you to schedule in advance text messages to be sent out to yourself or others!
This app is so easy to use and so helpful! First, register for your account by entering your name and cell phone number to text from. Second, click the “Create” button to create a new message. Third, type in the message you would like sent out. You can also attach up to one photo or video. Fourth, choose the recipient or recipients of your message from your contacts or input them manually. You can also choose to send messages to yourself! Finally, schedule the date and time you want the message sent and voila! You are done!
I am a fan of any app that makes my life easier and Capsule is definitely one of them! The concept is so simple and ingenious; I wish I would have thought of it myself! I’ve been using it for nearly a week now and I have nothing but praise for the app. It is easy to use, helpful, and will make anyone’s busy life a little more manageable.
