Do you have a young child who is working on their math skills?  If so, you should definitely check out Champs of Numeria!  With Champs of Numeria, kids can put their math skills to the test as they practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.  I thought that this app was a great way to help kids have fun while improving their math skills!

The Champs of Numeria app has kids play against characters like Zill the alien, Digby the dragon and many other fun foes.  This game features a “Connect Four” style game, and uses a blend of strategic gameplay and math concepts to build childrens’ numeracy and critical thinking skills.  There are different skill levels that allow children ages 4 and up to compete with the computer, each other, and even their parents in a fair match.  The app supports 1 to 4 players and features 4 different math subjects: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  There are difficulty levels from beginner all the way to advanced, and math problems are presented as “fact-families” or equations.  Younger children can count dots and identify the correct numbers, while older kids can solve more complex questions.  There are 9 total quirky fun characters for kids to play with or against.

I really enjoyed the Champs of Numeria app.  I think that this app would be perfect for young children who are building their math skills.  I would recommend this app to parents who are wanting to help their kids gain a stronger foundation in math!
