Curbi was designed with parents in mind!  With curbi, parents can have access to effective controls for managing their family’s Apple devices (i.e. iPhone, iPad, etc.).  The goal of curbi is to make devices safe for kids to use, while also monitoring usage.  I thought the curbi app had a great concept, and feel this is something that would definitely come in handy for parents.

Curbi provides parents with a way to create and manage usage rules and blocked content.  The app includes a built-in content filter.  I like how this app allows parents to decide what type of content they want their kids to see, and when they can see it.  Parents can monitor their child’s device usage, as far as how long their child is allowed to use to the device, etc.  There are ways to manage the time your child spends online and where they spend it, such as setting “Social Media” limits.  Parents can also set device restrictions, such as no Camera or no Safari, as well as see what apps their child is installing.

I think the curbi app could be very useful for parents who are looking to set restrictions and monitor their child’s device usage.  The curbi app is a great option for parental controls for iOS devices.  If you are looking to make your device a little “safer” for your child to use when it comes to the internet, etc., you should check out the new curbi app.

I saw something on my local news station about this app so I thought I would do a little reading on it when I found this article. So I decided to try it since it was listed as a free app. Once installing it on my sons phone and when I went to set it up I realized indeed it was free….for 14 days that is. So listing it for free to me is a little misleading.
