The Curious George’s Town app is the perfect app for every little builder. By playing instructive games, kids will learn about earning, saving and eventually purchasing items to build a town. Who is your guide? The Man With The Yellow Hat, of course! There are a variety of educational games, such as: sorting vegetables at the market, learning the alphabet at the library, feeding the animals at the pet store, and helping clean and recycle at the town park.
One of the features that I really liked – in addition to the coins that children will earn in each game, parents can use a customizable reward chart to set external tasks for their children to complete. Parents can choose tasks like setting the table or cleaning up their room and then reward their children with additional coins when they’ve completed their tasks. I thought this was an excellent idea! I also like how this app teaches children about saving – once they have saved the proper amount of coins they can buy items for their town, such as circus tents, dinosaurs, farm animals, roller coasters and more.
I really enjoyed the Curious George’s Town app. I think that this app could be a fun way to encourage children to do their chores. If you have kids who are old enough to do chores, I would recommend checking this app out – especially, if they are a Curious George fan!
