Greet the jet setters at the sliding glass door to welcome them to their flight. Tapping on the doors will allow more and more passengers into the terminal and soon you’ll have a back up. So, be sure to keep lines moving and luggage stowing to keep arrivals running smoothly. As always I enjoyed that the educational games relate to real-life scenarios. No cell phone service, help travelers count money into the pay phone. Going abroad? Make sure to go through customs and get the passports verified with the proper shaped stamp. Sorting and matching activities continue when you drop passengers off at their correct gate and locate their luggage at baggage claim. 10 activities in all will have your child locating items in lost and found, winding through mazes of roped off lines and navigating TSA checkpoints, to name a few.
The animal character are adorable! I love the dreadlocks on the hippo and Mrs. Cow made an impression on Sue, especially when she didn’t make it through the x-ray machine because of the keys and lipstick in her purse. One of our favorite activities was working at the control tower to make sure that planes land safely.
The controls are easy to use and even small children will be able to catch on to the workings of the game after just a few tries. They may need help with matching though so it makes it a good parent time experience as well. With so many activities and the quality animations I think you’ll find Dr. Panda’s Airport a great travel value.
